Resting Shepherd
This, simply stated, is the best German Shepherd figurine I've ever encountered. Having had the good fortune to own and observe three GSDs over the past twenty five years I have been given several figurines by friends and family. All are nice but none are truly accurate. This item, however takes things to a new level. The casting is excellent, no blank spots or rough sections. The proportions and positioning of the figure is spot on. I know this pose well. But it is the head that sets this one above the others. Alert, attentive and ready to go the face is almost life-like. As for the perfectly defined eyes I am occasionally startled to see it looking down at me as I work away at the keyboard. This seven inch long dog looks exactly like the sixty inch long one lying at my feet. On a scale of one to ten, this is an eleven. Highest recommendation!

My friend gave me this figurine as a gift. I have a Shepherd Service dog that always lays with his head on his paws, and this figurine is so lifelike in his coloring, his eyes expression. I have never seen such a beautiful figurine.
